As both a webinar operator and video editor I am heavily involved in the pre and post production of many of CLEBC's courses. Prior to the pandemic this would involve setting up recording and capture equipment to connect an in-person and online audience to each course. After a course was completed I would then edit the footage into video modules that would be hosted on CLEBC's Courses on Demand platform.
However, since the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic CLEBC has shifted all courses to be exclusively hosted online which has been done on the Zoom Webinars platform. With this shift many of my responsibilities as a Webinar Operator changed to support both CLEBC staff and customers over Zoom. This has included providing training to course instructors and staff in how to use both Zoom Meetings and Webinars as well as provide on-call technical support to our customers.
Behind the scenes I also assist with data entry, backend support and SEO as courses are entered into CLEBC's on demand video platform, Courses on Demand. This also extends to providing customer support and technical assistance to users of the platform.
